BPN (Business Professionals Network) – An international network of business professionals.
The BPN Fund was established in Switzerland in the late 1990s to support entrepreneurs in underdeveloped and developing countries. The BPN program was first launched in Kyrgyzstan. Today, the program is also successfully operating in Nicaragua, Rwanda, Mongolia, and Georgia.
The BPN program has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan since 1999. The main goal of our program is to combat unemployment and create permanent jobs. Since BPN began operating in Kyrgyzstan, 592 entrepreneurs have been selected for the program. Thus, over the course of 20 years, 11,797 jobs have been supported, half of which were newly created jobs.
We act fairly, attentively, and transparently. This is the basis for trusting and successful cooperation.
BPN supports entrepreneurs regardless of their culture or religion. We adhere to political and religious neutrality.
We listen, ask questions, inspire, teach, and think together with you. This is how we help entrepreneurs move forward.
We act with foresight, build relationships, and strive for mutual success.
We encourage people to step outside their comfort zone, look at problems from a different perspective, and try new things. That's how we learn and constantly improve.
Our mission is to unlock the potential of entrepreneurs by developing management skills, sharing practical business experience, and supporting growth.
We do this through:
We share global business standards and practical tools that entrepreneurs can apply immediately.
We help business owners build systems, strengthen their teams, improve management quality, and make informed decisions.
We provide entrepreneurs with access to credit focused on development and job creation.
Every successful project that goes through BPN creates new jobs, strengthens local families, and improves the country's social stability.
We promote the values of honesty, respect, hard work, and responsibility as the foundation of modern entrepreneurship.
We work for long-term results:
not to "give fish," but to teach "how to fish" and help entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses.
We respect the individuality of each program participant, value cultural diversity, adhere to Christian ethical values, and advocate for transparency, fairness, and development.
BPN helps entrepreneurs grow—and with them, their employees, families, communities, and the country's economy.
We are building an ecosystem that benefits everyone who strives to develop their business honestly, professionally, and sustainably.

Who am I?
How do I motivate others?
How do I know which employees are worth involving?
Those who know themselves and their employees well are better able to explain their own or their employees' behavior and set the right expectations for themselves and others.
Therefore, a personality profile is an important tool, both in personnel management and customer relations, as well as well as in personal relationships with friends, partners, family members, etc. We will use a personality profile wherever we have to interact with people.
At BPN, we believe that dynamic entrepreneurs have the potential to create sustainable businesses. To unlock this potential, they need a trusted and proven partner. BPN's professional business coaches walk alongside entrepreneurs as trusted partners throughout their growth journey.
BPN provides support to the entrepreneur throughout the program. This helps build mutual trust between the BPN and the entrepreneur and is key to a successful collaboration. Coaching begins with recognizing the entrepreneur's potential. Individualized sessions focus on identifying specific business challenges and opportunities. Our coaches help to find the right ways to solve emerging problems and motivate entrepreneurs to work professionally and honestly.
Thanks to regular coaching sessions, critical situations can be recognized at an early stage and thus prevented. Topics such as personnel management, personal development of the entrepreneur, corruption issues, constructive relations with state authorities and others are addressed during the sessions. But most importantly, during coaching we explore the growth potential of the business, and the entrepreneur is encouraged to set maximally ambitious but realistic goals.
After a rigorous selection process, program participants are trained in the basic principles of business management for two years and are accompanied by our technical experts throughout their development. BPN offers various trainings lasting from 2 to 5 days.
Over the course of two years, BPN participants learn the fundamentals of business management. BPN offers different training modules: 4 business fundamentals workshops lasting 4-5 days each. Topics such as "Entrepreneurship Concept", "Financial Management", "Marketing" and "Leadership" are covered in a practical way based on the daily life of an entrepreneur in Rwanda. Additionally, BPN offers optional modules adapted to the local context and identified needs, such as "Time Management", "Conflict Management", "Rwandan Labor Law", "Banking for SMEs" and others - to enhance professionalism.
BPN trainers are exclusively experts in their specialized fields. Since the seminars are mainly focused on the practical side, the application of the knowledge gained becomes easy and the chances of success increase significantly.
The BPN Business Academy is open to the general public. These trainings, which involve a rich mix of BPN entrepreneurs and other trainees, including representatives of government and financial institutions, also create conditions for experience sharing and networking, providing useful synergies.
No events are planned on this topic.
The BPN Business Owners Association (BOA) brings together successful alumni companies with common interests to promote constructive business development in Rwanda.
